Farm News

We have finished calving and the cows are producing plenty of milk on all this lush grass, following all the rain.

The crops are looking well and it is amazing to think that we are less than 2 months away from the start of harvest. We are already busy planning next years cropping, and ordering fertiliser and other inputs. (Some of these have gone up in price from £150 per tonne to £500 per tonne!)

The sheep are also well, with many of this year’s crop of lambs now ready.

This project is supported under the England Rural Development Programme by the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs and the European Agricultural Guidance and Guarantee Fund.
