About Us

WELCOME TO THE BETSEY WYNNE

Surrounded by patios, manicured gardens and 1,300 acres of farmland, The Betsey Wynne in Swanbourne re-opened its doors in 2017. Named after the Swanbourne Estate’s 18th century owner, this traditional home farm venue has become a prominent destination in the village thanks to its striking views, 100-seat restaurant, and extensive bar and lounge area. For our younger guests, an old Massey 135 tractor has become a popular attraction.

Open daily from 9am, visitors can look forward to freshly cooked food from a seasonal menu inspired by Mediterranean flavours and matched with a choice from our extensive wine list, embracing the finest grape varieties from around the world. The menu begins in the morning with breakfast and runs straight through the day and evening, featuring an imaginative and delicious range of vegetarian and vegan dishes together with daily specials. Our freshly made offer includes hand-crafted authentic Italian 'Esposito' Pizzas, baked to perfection in our wood-fired oven.

With its finely hewn oak beams, terracotta floor tiles and open inglenook fireplace, our bar area provides a range of comfortable seating options, including the intimate snug. A wide range of popular beers, real ales, wines and spirits sit alongside drinks sourced from the local Chiltern Brewery, and a superb range of teas and coffees. We proudly sponsor Buckingham Rugby Club minis and juniors.

In our carpark you’ll find a Vehicle Charging point provided by Pod Point making The Betsey Wynne the perfect pitstop for both you and your electric vehicle.
